A hemp ranch that works as dressing, dip, or sandwich spread. The hemp hearts emulsify into a creamy base that does not need buttermilk or sour cream.
Hemp Ranch
Yields about 1 cup. Prep 5 minutes.
Ingredients
- 1/2 cup hemp hearts
- 1/2 cup water
- 3 tablespoons lemon juice
- 1 small garlic clove
- 2 tablespoons olive oil
- 1 tablespoon white wine vinegar
- 2 tablespoons fresh dill
- 2 tablespoons fresh chives
- 1 tablespoon fresh parsley
- 1 teaspoon onion powder
- 1/2 teaspoon salt, black pepper
Method
- Blend hemp hearts, water, lemon, garlic, oil, and vinegar until completely smooth.
- Pulse in herbs, onion powder, salt, and pepper. Leave green flecks visible.
- Refrigerate at least 30 minutes for flavours to develop. Keeps 1 week.
