A green goddess dressing built on blended hemp hearts and a handful of soft herbs. Use as dressing, dip, or finishing sauce for fish and chicken.
Hemp Green Goddess Dressing
Yields about 1 1/4 cups. Prep 5 minutes.
Ingredients
- 1/2 cup hemp hearts
- 1/2 cup Greek yogurt (or coconut yogurt)
- 1/4 cup water
- 3 tablespoons lemon juice
- 1 small shallot, chopped
- 1 garlic clove
- 1 cup mixed soft herbs: parsley, chives, tarragon, basil, dill
- 1 tablespoon capers
- 2 anchovy fillets (optional, traditional)
- 1 teaspoon Dijon
- 3 tablespoons olive oil
- 1/2 teaspoon salt, black pepper
Method
- Blend everything except oil until smooth.
- With blender running, drizzle in olive oil to emulsify.
- Taste and adjust salt and lemon.
